Your in-game name: faroukinG[Dz]
What is your suggestion: My suggestion is to add a command that shows us the rules of the group, and of course the rules of your group you are in.
How will it benefit the community: Well, it could help for our groups.
  • When we invite players in our groups we must explain them the rules, and we must write so much.
  • Also to avoid those players who say that we don't know the group rules, this suggestion is helpful for them.
Additional information:
  • /grules - Shows group rules in dialog box.
  • /editgrules - Edit the rules of the group. (the Leader only have to edit it).
  • If a player type /gaccept (if he accepted the invitation) then the group rules will Show automaticly on him, and of course it'll be one time.
  • Now, let's create an example of group rules in dialog box. maybe we want to have a group rules dialog saying:
Code: [Select]
Welcome to our group rules.
1. Respect each Group members.
2. Don't ask for Free Ranks.
3. Try to be active in group chat.
4. Use English in Group chat.
5. You mustn't kill your group members in DMs/events.
6. Follow server rules, if you got banned you'll get a permanent kick.
  • Here, Pawn code what we created, maybe it helps our developer.
  • if You want to download it
Regards,

I appreciate your suggestion. It may be somehow beneficial, but I have to clear something. There is a child board in the forums for each group. And it contains the rules. As players have to make a membership application on forums, they will have to read the rules found there in order to join. I'll go with Negative, as we already have this on forums.

Not commenting the addition of a pawn code you found on the internet or created by yourself.

Negative, there are specific boards in the forums which you can use to write your group rules in a professional way, such as formatting them etc.

Yes, I agree with you, each group has  rules ... etc.
We have a lot of players who are not registered on forums.
But, even if they are registered, I don't see much interest in the group board as I-G.
As players have to make a membership application on forums, they will have to read the rules found there in order to join
Moreover, the number of  membership applications is very low in the Groups board.

If there is interest in group board, my suggestion will be useless.
So, why the developer wastes his time and add it,
Furthermore, the group board is broken. I mean there is no activity in it

There could very well be a value to this suggestion in later builds or if times change. However, I don't see it currently due to what others have mentioned, and also it's a bit too gimmicky. Generally, the way group rules work is that you must follow server rules, and that is about it. Negative.

No, most people here don't read the rules and most of the time they ignore it, what they always do is copying the template format and post the application without reading anything, just sayin..
About my opinion of this suggestion. I don't believe there would be any harm with it, so absolutely, my vote is positive.

There's a reason why forum subjects(topics) are made at the Groups board. I am not supporting this idea, as the group rules can be expressed on forums as well, this has no reason or utilization. Besides, we need our community individuals on forums as much as we are able to so this will(in a way) diminish the forum activity as well. -1

P.S: feel free to drop a pm, if you'd like an elaboration.
